v4.5.5 (Released 2009-05-31)

  • Fix: The Awstats config file could be generated as a folder instead of a file.

  • Stability: Certificate and hostname update functions rewritten to be more robust and show loading panels when services (primarily the webserver) are reloading to avoid website interaction.

  • Fix: Version numbers will now follow the more traditional 4.5.x syntax rather than using release numbers (i.e. r141).

v4.4 r141 (Released 2009-02-11)

  • Enhancement: Amavisd now sets spam headers for all configured domains instead of just users as before. This is important if you use forwardings/aliases or has configured the mailserver as a mail relay.
  • Fix: emails to root are now delivered to all configured sysadmins with email addresses again.
  • Enhancement: Spam-trapping is enhanced - any sender that tries to deliver an email to a

domain that is not configured on the mailserver will be trapped.

v4.4 r140 (Released 2009-02-09)

  • Fix: Certificate ca chain was not installed correctly
  • Fix: Spam wasn't detected correctly for the dashboard display

v4.4 r139 (Released 2009-01-20)

  • Edit the postfix configuration file directly when updating mynetworks (permitted relays) instead of using a separate file.

  • Clear the javascript cache properly on updates
  • Updated ruby-god to the latest version (which doesn't leak memory)
  • Updated minimum memory requirements to 384 Mb with 512 Mb recommended for production systems
  • Updated the system update mechanism to provide better feedback if there's a timeout or the update site can't be reached
  • Updated Roundcube to version 0.2 stable (this also fixes the recently reported security issue with Roundcube)
  • Fixed a style issue where the Roundcube taskbar wasn't visible in IE7
  • Fixed an issue where creating a user without a name would give a 500 error
  • Fixed a problem where it wasn't possible to set a vacation autoreply
  • Fixed a problem where Spam folders wasn't copied to new users automatically

v4.4 r135 (Released 2008-12-15)

  • Enhancement: Added the ability to start a full backup on demand from the webadmin gui

v4.4 r134 (Released 2008-12-11)

  • Fixes a problem with backups for upgrades from Mailserver 4.3. There's no need to install this update if you installed the Mailserver from a 4.4 ISO, or if you downloaded the Mailserver 4.4 VMware install.

v4.4 r132 (Released 2008-12-08)

Version r132 has been released, with the following fixes and enhancements:

  • Fixes the domain search and pagination problems.
  • A crash reporter has also been added that sends crash logs (no data) for easier troubleshooting of problems, should they occur.

v4.4 (Released 2008-12-05)

At last, version 4.4 of the Mailserver is ready and a couple of the most requested features has been added.

Version 4.4 adds the following features and updates

  • New Feature: Quota Support. The default quota is 5Gb, make sure you set adjust quotas if any user has more than that currently.
  • New Feature: CSV Import. From the users configuration page, it's now possible to upload a csv file with users into the system.
  • Enhancement: The domain, user and forwarding configuration has an updated configuration that's much easier to work with
  • Update: All the system components has been updated to OpenBSD 4.4, Dovecot 1.1.4, Postfix 2.5.3, Amavisd-new 2.5.4, SpamAssassin 3.2.4, Roundcube 0.2-beta, …
  • Enhancement: Native VMware tools support in the OpenBSD kernel
  • Security: Default password is no longer set on the VMware installations and root password has to be set through the web console
  • Code Cleanup: Lots of small fixes to make everything more robust and work a little bit better
